The Pasco County Library System Advisory Board consists of nine members
who are registered voters. Each Pasco County Commissioner appoints one member to the board, one
member is appointed by the Mayor and City Council of the City of New Port Richey, one member is
appointed by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, one member is appointed by
the Mayor and City Council of Dade City and one at-large member is appointed by the Libraries Director.
The Library Advisory Board works toward the development and implementation of sound programs for the
County's public library System and advises and makes recommendations to the Board of County
Commissioners on policy matters pertaining to the Pasco County Library System.
